Thinking is the path to our emotions
and our emotions are the path to our
actions ... and so if our thinking is
positive then our emotions will be
positive and consequently our actions will
be positive. Try it - you will be
surprised at how true it is!
It is our less-conscious thoughts and
our less-conscious actions which mould our
lives and the lives of those around us.
Our emotions and consequently our actions
are not separate from our thoughts.

Our mind is similar to a garden
which we either cultivate and nourish or
we let run wild, and it does not matter
which path the garden is allowed to follow
it will still produce flowers and fruit.
But just like the gardner who controls his
garden and enocourages it to produce not
simply flowers but the best flowers and
the best fruit, so too must we control our
mind, cultivating it and weeding out the
negative thoughts and discarding them,
encouraging the growth of new, useful,
positive thoughts which will dramatically
affect our everyday lives.
The thought-forces and mind-elements
operate in shaping our character, our
circumstances and our destiny. Your
thoughts control your future, and if they
are all positve thoughts then you can be
assured that your life will follow a path
that is one of freedom from everything
negative in this life that surrounds us
all too often. Your life will benefit
greatly with simple positive thinking.
 
So if you are planning to diet,
before you start you must discard those
negative thoughts of "I am fat" and
replace them with
"Today I am fat, tomorrow I will
be a tiny but slimmer and within a month I
will need to take my belt in 1
notch!"
Dieting is so much a state of our mind
and if we can maintain that positivie
approach even through the hard times of
the dieting, and there will be hard and
difficult and frustrating periods, then we
are assured of success. The mind is a
very powerful tool and if you can take
control of it and use it for your benefit
you will find many aspects of your whole
life change for the better. This certainly
applies to dieting too.
