Moderate Your Eating Pattern.
This is very simple - do not
eliminate anything form your diet
that you enjoy eating initially, but
simply reduce the quantity you put in your
mouth. If you normally eat a Large Fries
from KFC, have the Regular size instead;
if you normally eat the 3-piece pack, have
the 2-piece pack instead and eat it
slowly, lots of chewing before you
swallow. Slowly but very surely you will
lose weight and after some time you will
find pleasure in that weight loss and this
will encourage you to think, on your next
visit to KFC, to have the coleslaw and
salad instead of the fries! In due course,
because you will be looking better as the
months pass, you will probably give KFC a
miss altogether!
Iced Water - before you ever put
a single piece of food in your mouth, be
it starting your main meal or simply
having a snack, force yourself to have a
glass of iced water first. Everytime. It
will act as an appetite suppressant as
well fill part of that hungry hole in your
stomach. And while you drink the water,
ask yourself if you really and honestly
need the snack you are about to eat or
could you delay eating it until later in
the day? Try it! In due course you will be
able to delay it for hours, then days,
then elinimate it altogether. But no rush
- have it if you need it, but have the
iced water first.
 
Never aim to lose weight quickly - a
pound a week does not sound like very much
but in 6 months time at 1 pound a week you
will have lost 12 lbs!
Now is that something worth aiming
for?
The real beauty of the above is that
no-one around you even needs to know you
are "on a diet" because all of the above
can be done in the privacy of your own
home, at your own pace. 
But they will know you have been
doing something when, one day, suddenly
someone will say "wow, you're looking
great, have you been dieting?" to which
you can honestly answer "No!" because,
with above, you are not dieting but you
are changing your lifestyle and your
eating patterns and this is the only way
to go!
For now, please accept and love
yourself for what you are. Take it one day
at a time and I know success will be
yours, as it has been for me.
