Another important diet tip: try to use non-saturated fats in your daily diet, and only eat foods that are low on fat; use Omega-3 fats when you are preparing your meals. Include plenty of dietary fiber in your meals, and at the same time be wary of hidden fats and sodium in the tinned and packaged foods that you buy.

When you are out grocery shopping, try to keep calories in mind, and therefore, read the labels about nutritional information carefully before you buy the product.
