"I have tried them
all!"
A familiar sound? Yes, we have all
"tried them all" and so many of us have
failed in our attempts to get rid of that
excess weight that plagues us!
But even when we are succcessful in
shedding those extra pounds, does that
mean that we are actually "healthy"?

One thing so many dieters avoid at
all costs is exercise!
The reality is, very often we are
overweight simply because we do not
excercise! We do not force our body to
use up some of the stored fat.
Our lifestyle of fast foods and
television etc have allowed us and our
body to forget that extremely important
part of life - exercise.
EXERCISE
Normally exercise is part of our daily
living - for a woman, in the past, it may
have been hand washing all the family's
clothes, but today we can sit down and
wait whilst the automatic washing machine
does that work for us - i.e. the machine
is getting the exercise! The machine gets
fit, we do not!
Consequently it is vital we replace
that lost exercise with another form of
exercise and today we are lucky that there
are so many facilities available to us,
such as a gym club or a weight loss club.
But we do not have to attend these -
simple exercises in the privacy of your
home will have exactly the same
effect.
Walk around the block briskly (or
simply around your home), jogging on the
spot on the back lawn, movement exercises
to music in the living room - all of these
are simple to do and cost nothing except a
few minutes of time.
So you need to re-train your body -
"yes, I will eat that chocolate bar but
not until I have walked around the block
and then had 2 glasses of iced water"!
