Crash Dieting
When you are trying to lose weight, you
may hear plenty of advice from your
friends, relatives, your colleagues and
even your friendly neighbor.

However, do not try a crash diet to
lose weight quickly, because all a crash
diet does is that it makes you lose the
water in your body very quickly, so that
you get fooled into thinking that you are
losing weight, while as a matter of fact,
you would have just lost the water and not
the inches of fat around your tummy and on
your thighs.
This may appear to you that you have
lost weight, but since it is just water
that you have lost your body will
replenish it as quickly as you lose it and
this means that you have lost no weight at
all.
Two important facts about crash
dieting:
- Crash dieting makes you tired,
irritable and often depressed.
- You will probably quite lethargic
with absolutely no energy for any
activity.
As a matter of fact, crash dieting
would inevitably bring on intense food
cravings, and you may end up dreaming
about food every waking minute. Always
remember that there are no real 'special
combinations' of various foods, which
would boost your metabolism sufficiently
enough to help you lose weight, and if you
are a heavier person, then you will
automatically have a higher metabolism
than a lighter person, because you will
have a larger tissue mass.
