Stop Carb Cravings
So many people have a huge carb craving
in mid-morning and mid-afternoon and for
many it has become so normal that to stop
giving in to that craving it is almost
impossible.
Often the reason for these mid-morning
and mid-afternoon carbo binges is due to
not understanding how our body works and
how it responds to different types of
food.

Certain Foods are
Triggers
To control those carbohydrate cravings
there are a few points to note and the
first of these is the actual foods that
trigger these carb cravings.
Research tells us that carbohydrates
trigger the brain to crave more carbs,
leading to a cycle of carbohydrate eating
that becomes almost impossible to
control.
It is these trigger foods that keep you
fat and as adieter it is your goal to
control these foods rather than letting
them control you.
What are trigger foods?
They vary from person to person but
usually they are corn chips, soft drinks,
peanuts, potato chips, french fries,
cheese, choclate chip cookies like oreo,
pizza, pretzels, candy bars etc. These are
the foods that for many people become the
"once I pop, I cannot stop".
And all these types of foods are
usually available in take-away places
...
They are so easily obtainable and today
they have crept into our daily routine
without us even planning for it to happen.
 We
are busy and we get hungry and one serve
of that carb leads to another and we are
not aware of how much we are actually
eating as our brain is ocntrolling that
carb rush. Just eating a small portion of
any of the above trigger foods and without
realizing it you can be consuming anywhere
from 200 to 2000 calories! Most people on
a weight loss / diet program are aiming
for and calorie intake of between 1200
-1400 calories each day and just that one
snack can seriously ruin your plans.
But do not worry, there are
solutions!
